This is a great series.
Juliet Blackwell is a great author. One of my favorite actually. The characters she has created are like real people. The leading lady is Mel Turner. She runs a construction company. The company renovates old victorian houses in San Francisco.
If walls could talk takes Mel to her friend's house to do some work. A man dies and she sees his ghost. She helps him find the killer. That is the basic story. But all through there is wonderful family behind her and a love interest.
Dead bolt was a bit different which was really neat. There were angry beings in the renovation project. I thought they were both great. Of course they both get 5 stars!!
